What is an embroidered patch?

An embroidered patch is a type of customization where the design (logo, text, image…) is stitched onto a fabric base, creating a standalone patch that is later sewn or heat-pressed onto the final garment.

How is an embroidered patch made?
The design is embroidered onto a strong fabric base (such as felt, twill, or polyester).
The patch is cut into the desired shape (it can be round, square, irregular…).
The edge is finished (with a satin stitch border or laser cut).
Heat-activated adhesive or velcro is applied, or the patch is left ready to be sewn directly onto the garment.
